Every damper is reviewed against the specification, the local code and its tested installation.
- Fire resistance period and leakage class against the specification
- Damper size within the listed or classified range, single or multi-section
- Static or dynamic system rating
- Actuator voltage, fail-safe position and position indication
- Access for inspection, and periodic testing to the applicable code
- Supporting construction – rigid wall, flexible wall or floor – within the tested scope
- Mounting orientation and airflow direction
- Thermal release temperature
- Sleeve, fixing, clearance and breakaway connection per the tested installation
